Last night my wife and I were able to spend the evening together with no distractions from our beautiful kids. This was the first time in over a year that we had been given this opportunity from my wifes mother to watch both kids for the night and allow us to go do whatever we want.

And as we were out to dinner I was thinking how I feel like I do a good job showing my wife and kids that I love them and that I go out of my way to spend time with them. But I realized that I spend a lot of time with my family physically, but not mentally.
