  2. Building relationships with bloggers can lead to more opportunities and can be great for networking.

If I was looking for a marketing strategy blog on the topic of Facebook usage in business, I could search for #marketing and browse through the results.


You can do this on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Google+. If you don't know where to find groups related to your industry, just search online.

  2. Find influential bloggers in your industry by searching for local business Facebook groups and joining them.

  3. Find local blogs in your niche and comment on their posts or send them an email asking for advice. Comment on blog posts in your niche or shoot them an email requesting advice.

  4. Share and recommend products and services.

  5. Create a local business resource page on your website for customers to find places they can buy products and services from you, but also to find other businesses in your area they may want to patronize.
